A hand-crafted 7-8 inch / 18-20 cm diameter wooden Bowl carved by the people of Kisii in the Tabaka Hills of Western Kenya.
These bowls are handcrafted from olivewood, a beautiful hardwood indigenous to Kenya, with bone inserts. The wood has it's own natural, striking grain and color pattern variations.
It is ideal for serving salads and snacks or purely decorative use. These pieces will last generations with occasional mineral oil treatment.
These sturdy bowls are beautifully carved with an extended flat bottom to ensure they stand straight on any surface.
As each bowl is unique there may be slight variations in pattern to that pictured.
