The traditional Djembe Drum, the most popular of African drums is handcrafted by our partners in the Artisans` village near to Dakar, Senegal.
This drum is approximately 19" / 49 cm tall with a drum head 9" / 23 cm across and, designed for professional use, has a great sound & range.

The bag is made of cotton in Senegal & has a zip, padding & carrying handle
The drum is carved from a single tree trunk that is wider at the top than the bottom and covered with goat skin, held tight by rope. The rope is also used to re-tune the drum if necessary in the future.
